Donation, Refund, and Return Policy

Mental Health Ministries (“MHM,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) is a faith-based nonprofit organization committed to stewardship, transparency, and integrity. This policy explains how donations, refunds, and returns are handled for contributions and purchases made through mentalhealthministries.life.

1. Charitable Donations
All donations made to Mental Health Ministries are voluntary and generally non-refundable. Donations directly support mental health education and outreach programs, faith-based resources and classes, prison, re-entry, and veteran initiatives, as well as community outreach, materials, and operational costs. Once a donation is submitted, it is considered final unless an error has occurred.

If you believe a donation was made in error, such as an incorrect amount, duplicate transaction, or unauthorized charge, you must contact us within seven days of the transaction. Requests will be reviewed, and if approved, refunds will be issued to the original payment method when feasible.

Donations designated for specific programs, including books, Bibles, apparel, or the Flag Afghan Project, will be used as intended whenever possible. If a designated program becomes unavailable or overfunded, funds may be redirected to a similar mission-aligned purpose at the discretion of Mental Health Ministries.

2. Merchandise Purchases
Mental Health Ministries may offer merchandise, including apparel, books, and outreach items, to support its mission.

Returns or exchanges may be accepted for unused, unworn, and undamaged items if a return request is made within fourteen days of delivery and the item is in its original condition. Custom items and items donated or sponsored for outreach purposes are non-returnable. All return requests must be approved before items are sent back.

Refunds may be issued for defective or damaged items, incorrect items received, or approved returns that meet this policy. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method after the returned item is received and inspected. Shipping costs are generally non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

The following items are non-refundable: charitable donations, custom or personalized items, digital downloads or online resources, and items donated on behalf of incarcerated individuals or outreach recipients.

3. Digital Products and Online Resources
All digital products, downloadable materials, and online educational resources are non-refundable once access has been granted. If you experience technical issues, please contact us and we will make reasonable efforts to assist.

4. Shipping Issues
If an item is lost or damaged during shipping, you must notify us within seven days of the delivery date. Please include relevant details or photos when applicable. We will work with you to resolve the issue in an appropriate manner.

5. Tax Deductibility
Mental Health Ministries is a nonprofit organization, and donations may be tax-deductible as permitted by law. Donation receipts are provided. Donors should consult a qualified tax professional regarding deductibility.
