Midnight Riders Deliver Hope and Honor

On Saturday, October 25, 2025, our team of Midnight Riders volunteers hand-delivered 28 American Flag afghans in full ceremonial presentation to some of our nation’s veterans currently residing at the Southwest Mansions Senior Independent Living center in Oklahoma City, OK.  Unfortunately, not all of the veterans were able to attend the ceremony, but the ones that did loved the afghans and felt honored by our Flag Aghan Project volunteers housed at Joseph Harp Correctional Center.  

Each afghan was accompanied by a certificate of appreciation with the veteran’s name and branch of service printed on them.  One of our honored guests, Eual McCrite was part of the 2nd wave that stormed the beaches in Normandy, a moment in history that changed the world.  At 99 years old, he carries himself with the energy and spirit of someone half his age.  Thank you ALL for your service.  Your courage and sacrifice continue to inspire us all.  May God bless you and keep you!
